Secrets from my hairdresser

It’s a case of third time lucky. After two woeful experiences with hairdressers, I’ve discovered the lovely Stephanie at Huge Hair. Not only is she highly skilled, friendly and efficient, she’s brilliant at marketing and customer service.

On my first visit I was offered a $50 discount and shown to a seat with a lovely hand-written place card on it. Steph then gave me a detailed assessment of my hair and asked me what I wanted. She then took great care to cut and colour it just as we agreed. As I left, my personal details were recorded in their database. Three days later I received a lovely letter with two vouchers, one with a $50 discount for a friend and one for me with a $25 discount for my second visit.

Yesterday, I went back for my second haircut. I was thrilled with the result and am now a raving fan. I’m not expecting any more discounts. That’s now irrelevant. I’m so impressed with her service and attention to detail the price doesn't really matter.  I’m going back… and I’m telling my friends about it. What lessons can you learn from my hairdresser?
